What Is The Bauman Letter? [Ted Bauman]

In a recent review I did of Banyan Hill Publishing, I came across an advisory service called The Bauman Letter.

Edited by Ted Bauman – the editor with the largest readership at Banyan Hill – this premium service is built on a stock-picking system that predicts which stocks are going to perform well and which ones aren’t.

In this review, I will be dissecting the Bauman Letter to reveal how it works to enable you to better decide whether it is worth signing up for.

What is The Bauman Letter?

The Bauman Letter is an investment advisory service that helps average citizens improve their financial standing by investing in the capital markets. Ted achieves that by pointing them towards investments that are likely to earn returns.

The Bauman Letter Reviews

Ted launched the newsletter to share his wealth creation principles with readers who are struggling financially.

In the tedbaumanguru.com website, he describes The Bauman Letter as a newsletter that teaches people how to “invest” rather than “speculate.” He says:

“Investing is the only true path to sustained prosperity and wealth. Speculation is just informed gambling. That’s why I write The Bauman Letter for you … as an investor.

You invest in companies — in sound businesses. You don’t just speculate on stock moves. Anyone can take a gamble for a short-term win, but those wins are few and far between.”

Usfunds.com differentiates the two by stating that investments involve an asset that is acquired to generate income or capital gains while speculation is a transaction that puts you at risk of losing your entire investment but with the promise of earning you an oversized return.

When you sign up for the Bauman Letter, you gain access to his model portfolio. He describes it as follows:

“I provide you with a diversified portfolio that’s designed to grab steady, low-risk gains … as well as massive home-run plays. That makes it an ideal strategy no matter your stage in life or investment needs.”

He claims that it is versatile enough to cater to both your low-risk and more aggressive investment needs:

“If you’re retired and looking for dependable income streams or looking for a more aggressive trading strategy — this is the system for you.”

In summary, he provides you with an assortment of relatively safe income investments and more aggressive, speculative punts and lets you choose what you want to invest in.

How does The Bauman Letter work?

To pick his trades, Ted relies on a trading strategy that rests on four criteria. They are summarized with an acronym he calls BOLD and each letter stands for one of the following four elements:

Big Vision – the company should have a strong outlook and hold the promise of delivering significant returns.

Open for Takeoff – It should have solid fundamentals that make it likely to soar under the right market conditions.

Logical Move – It should be a logical move for investors today so that you don’t have to wait too long to start earning returns from it.

Distinct Catalyst – It should have an x-factor that makes it stand out from its competitors.

The Bauman Letter Conclusion

Ted Bauman presents himself as a guy who has lived a life of giving; from building houses for the poor to help you secure your wealth at a small fee. Although that sounds noble and heartwarming, you should be more concerned with the kinds of investments he proposes and his overall performance.

He focuses on long-term trends to help investors to achieve double- and triple-digit returns. He also adds speculative plays to his portfolio to tend to risk-averse readers.

At $39, The Bauman Letter is relatively cheap. You can try it out and if it fails to live up to expectations, you can always cancel for a refund.

However, as you try out Ted’s recommendations, bear in mind that some of them take time to yield returns.
