He intends to talk about his small-cap investment strategy that targets stocks that can earn 10X on your investment in approximately 12 months.

What is the New Era Fortunes Summit?

The New Era Fortunes Summit is a webinar that will be hosted by Ian King and John Burke.

It is expected to happen on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 1 PM EDT.

It is free to attend for all people (even those who have never subscribed to any of Ian King’s newsletters) but the spots are limited. To register, you need to provide your name, phone number, and email – they use them to send you updates about the event.

Now, I can’t ascertain whether this is true about the event but from what I have seen with other similarly-formatted webinars, they don’t usually bar people from attending even when they state that spots are limited. They create that feeling of scarcity to encourage people to commit.

The event will take place on a private VIP website (newerafortunessummit.com) where Ian will also be providing periodic updates about the topics of discussion in the days leading up to the summit.

Who is Ian King?

Ian King is an investment analyst who is a member of the editorial team at Banyan Hill Publishing. He edits two premium newsletters, namely Crypto Profit Trader and Automatic Fortunes.

He started his career at the age of 21 at Salomon Brothers, where he worked in the mortgage bond trading department. He then moved on to Citigroup and later to a hedge fund called Peahi Capital. Working for those firms steeped him in high-level trading and also enabled him to learn how the capital markets work.

In 2008, amid the Global Financial Crisis, while many investors were losing money, King and his team made 339% total returns for their clients.

Owing to his experience, King has shared his insights on mainstream platforms like SeekingAlpha, Zero Hedge, Fox Business News, and Investopedia.

As for his investment strategy, Ian King is best known for identifying trends in the technology industry that could have a significant impact on people’s lives. He finds the stocks that may benefit from those trends and invests in them before they take off.

He also dabbles in cryptocurrencies and was instrumental in developing the first training program of its kind for Investopedia Academy.

What will King discuss during the New Era Fortunes Summit?

In the brief description of what the event will be about, Ian mentions that he and John will talk about:

Speaking of his trading strategy, Ian King mentions that he has been using it to alert subscribers of his newsletter, Automatic Fortunes, to the best investment opportunities in the market:

“Subscribers to my Automatic Fortunes newsletter have already used a similar strategy to close out half of their position for 552% in under a year on large-cap electric car pioneer Tesla…”

This could imply that he will be promoting the newsletter during the summit (if the word “fortunes” wasn’t enough to convince me)

Could the New Era Fortunes Summit be all about 5G?

On the VIP website (newerafortunessummit.com), Ian recently published an article titled “The Great Tech Convergence.”

In it, he appeared to suggest that 5G will be the main topic of discussion.

This is not the first time Ian has talked about 5G investments. I can refer you to my reviews of his previous presentations, Spectrum The Future of All Technology and Fluorescent Sand, in which he touted 5G stocks.

In this update, he wrote about a “convergence of new technologies” that will alter our lives. And the technology that will bring them together will be 5G. To quote him:

“Over the next several years, a convergence of new technologies will shape the future of mankind.

And the technology that will bring all of them together is 5G – a lightning-fast network that Verizon and AT&T are confident will be widely accessible later this year.”
